yoga + other stories goes to Switzerland
I have just come back from a weekend trip to Switzerland. I spent my time breathing in the fresh, crisp air, walking around and eating lots of yummy food, all the while catching up with my best friend who moved there last year. It was my first visit to Lausanne where she now lives with her husband and they were both on a mission to convince me to move there too.
Well, Switzerland does not make it too hard to love her. Hilly streets, tree lined neighbourhoods, breathtaking views, silence, great food. Clean, beautiful towns with old character, lots and lots of green, constantly shadowed by the raw, powerful presence of the Alps.
So if you are tempted by the wine, cheese, chocolate or the mountains, life in Switzerland has you sorted. My friends now are in fact the proud owners of a cow – can you get more Swiss than that?!
